Although this article was published by Página 12 three years ago, it seems to be up-to-date, in many ways. It makes a brief comparison between Montevideo and Buenos Aires and also refers to the corner of “Las Misiones”. The piece mentions that this is probably the only façade in the continent with green and cream majolicas, probably brought from England, and built following the style of Manchester’s pubs .
